The 'gel' or 'crystal' litters are composed of sand formed into small crystals of a similar size to original clay litter.  There is no clumping action and very little tracking outside the box.  Crystal litter is extremely lightweight, especially when compared to clay and clumping cat litters.  Cost is around .23 cents per day based on the recommended retail.  This is even less when you buy from Online Pet Warehouse!  We beat any price!
